1797 S.142 R5+ Reverse of 1797 with Stems Draped Bust Large cent, PCGS VG details, code 97 for environmental damage.  All absolutely true.  Yet, this very rare cent is still quite useful for the collector on a budget, and actually looks pretty good in hand.  It is more than easily identified, and very pleasing.  And, likely to be darn inexpensive for what it is! A rare and desirable coin from the
PA Collection - and the VERY LAST COIN from that source!  The collection was formed by a serious, sharp-eyed specialist from the late 1940's through the early 1980's, and included a few hundred very cool, rare coins.  But this is the last one!  Thanks for your participation, and good luck!
