    Description

    Welcome to Earlycoppercoins!  I am the owner, Shawn A. Yancey, and I am a member of ANA and Early American Coppers, EAC #4647.  I am pleased to offer the following item:
    1798 S155 Draped Bust Large Cent, Reverse of 1795/1796 with Single Leaves, R3.  This is a gorgeous tan brown example that was removed from a PCGS Fine-Fifteen holder, and the label remains with the coin.  Extremely sharp and attractive, easily Fifteen, but close inspection shows some tiny spots of darker toning across each side, plus several small rim bumps.  I will net grade the coin as Fifteen net Ten due to the minor defects, but the coin is exceptionally attractive and frankly a "PLUS" in terms of eye appeal.  Ex-Tom Evert 09/08/11.
