1802 S.239 Draped Bust Large cent, PCGS VF details, code 97 for environmental damaged.  We started in coins in 1973.  We learned how to grade from the "old-timers", and were grading for ourselves for 13 years before the advent of slabbing in 1986.  Over our 50 years in numismatics, we've bought, sold, graded, traded and collected literally hundreds of thousands of coins.  We know a thing or two about this whole endeavor.  THIS COIN IS NOT Environmentally damaged, nor is it damaged in any other way.  In fact, it is original, very appealing and quite problem free...and we grade it VF thirty five.  That's the holder it should be in, and we are confident that it will be in that holder someday.  In the meantime, enjoy it...it's a great coin!
