1926 Buick Standard Six Model 28

Offered is a beautifully restored 1926 Buick Standard Six four passenger Coupe. This is Buick Model 28, often described as an opera coupe. Seating configuration has a fixed driver's seat and a folding front passenger seat to allow access to the 2/3 width rear seat with a parcel storage area or "hat box" behind the driver's seat. Car runs out very well, has a peppy six cylinder overhead valve six mated to a three speed gearbox with an interesting reverse "H" pattern. This car has been in the dry California central valley all its life. Some time prior to 1985 the long term owners commissioned a full frame off restoration which included re-wooding the body. The car was then put in careful covered storage until 2020 when it was sold from the previous owner's estate. Careful wake up included new battery and refresh of the fuel system. The car is now converted to run off an electric fuel pump but the complete original vacuum system is in place. This is essentially an unused fresh restoration of very high quality.
