  • Condition: The car is currently running but needs fresh gas and clean spark plugs. I drove it about 4 miles with no problem but I would recommend letting it warm up good and replace the fuel. One reason we are selling is because it is sitting to long between drives now a day and it’s time for some one else to enjoy it. It has minor blemishes in the finish and a few scuffs on the fenders from backing it in and out of garage. Joe Robison is 94 and he stopped driving it a few years back- after that I drove it to a few car shows and for ice cream. We have lots of great memories with this car and I know you will also. It’s a head turner and show stopper every where we go. Needs to have water jacket fixed because it leaks water as shown in the pictures. We only go a 8/10 miles at a time.

    Vehicle Details
Please look at all the pictures and check the videos on YouTube (Robison Harley-Davidson 1933 Buick) I have lots of pictures but can only load 100, I have folders with original pap work and work orders from Daytona Buick from the 1950’s along with other original paper and memorabilia. The car has been listed before with high reserves and recently on BAT but it don’t make the reserve. I am a motivated seller and will be selling this vehicle very soon as the building it’s stored in has been sold so it has to go. Don’t let this amazing beaut piece of automotive history slip by. You will love it! With a little TLC this car will fill your family with memorials it has with ours, from going to car shows with my grandfather and stopping to get ice cream to wedding pictures and special events. You could make money with this thing along with owning a beautiful car. We just don’t drive it about anymore. Needs the grill replaced and one of the engine vents need a new spring. Drives and stops like it should- when it fresh it starts before you can get your finger off the button. Please let me know if you want to know anything else about it. Motor and transmission were never removed from the chassis- it was pulled from the barn as a complete car and restored piect by piece.
This 1933 Buick Model 91 Club Sedan was delivered new by Howard Automobile Company of Los Angeles, California on February 10, 1933. The car was moved to Daytona Beach, Florida by the 1950s and was removed from storage in Florida when the seller acquired it in 1984. Under current ownership the exterior was refinished in two-tone brown and the tan interior was reupholstered. Power comes from a 345ci inline-eight paired with a three-speed manual transmission, and features include hood louvers, running boards, side-mounted spare tires, 17″ wire wheels, a flying-lady ornament, and an integral trunk. This Series 90 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records dating back to the 1950s, some older photos, and a Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished in a brown two-tone scheme using paint sourced from Buick. Features include running boards with replacement rubber mats, louvers on the hood sides, a flying-lady ornament in front of the hood, and a luggage trunk. Imperfections are present in the finish, the grille shows corrosion, and rust bubble under the mat on the driver-side running board. One of the springs for the louvers needs to be reattached, and the faulty spring has caused some knicks in the finish.
Body-matching 17″ wire wheels wear B-script hubcaps and are mounted with Firestone gum-dipped tires. Spare tires with body-color hard covers are mounted on both sides of the car in the trailing edges of the front fenders.
The interior features front and rear bench seats that have been redone with tan cloth upholstery. The rear compartment features integrated side armrests, a fold-down armrest in the center, a robe rail on the back of the front seat, a footrest, and tan floor mats with brown piping. The mats show wear, the robe rail needs to be reattached, and the windshield wipers are missing.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 100-mph speedometer and gauges to monitor amperage, water temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level (doesn’t work) The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles, approximately 20k of which have been added by the seller since the 1980s. True mileage is unknown.
The 344.8ci inline-eight was rated to produce 104 horsepower at 2,800 rpm when new. The engine was left in the car when it was partially rebuilt under current ownership, and the condensers and battery have been replaced. The fuel tank has been recoated inside, has rust on the engine where the water-jacket seal is leaking on the driver side.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside are presented below
An owner service policy issued in California in 1933 is included with the car along with various records dating back to the 1950s, photos of which are provided below.
