Description
Bass Ale Beer Tray with Baltic Trader Tall Ship Image. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS.The Baltic Trade was a typical working brig of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, in which Bass beers were shipped into the northern ports of Europe. The imagery is so nice and harks back to a different age. The tray says "Great Stuff this Bass - Since 1777" on the front and the back gives some deeper insight on the background of the Baltic Trade ships and their cargo. It also indicates that Russian nobility were partial to Burton brewed beers and that a Russian nobleman was reported to have served Bass to his guests on silver spoons.
The tray is vintage and shows some of its age, but the overall look is clean and sharp. If you are like us, it is easy to look past or even enjoy the blemishes as part of its character.
This tray was made in the United Kingdom and is an Avon product. There are four dimples that were part of the design. We don't know why, but this sets it apart from many beer trays we have come across over the years.
Great for any tray collector, beer enthusiast or for anybody that wants to add nautical flair to their bar, mancave or she-shed.
12" diameter
