    This is a brand new, medical grade, surgical scrub suitable for use as an anti-septic/anti-microbial skin cleanser.
    Exidine is equivalent to Hibiclens (same active ingredient). The 4% solution of chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) is used in surgery prep as an anti-septic skin cleanser for hand-washing. It is part of standard practice for skin prep of the surgical patient by AST (Association of Surgical Technologists).
    CHG promotes effective surgical hand scrubbing, patient preoperative preparation, catheter site prep and routine hand washing.
