G. KRUEGER BREWERY BEER-ALE METAL 12 INCH BEER TRAY. NEWARK, NEW JERSEY. Local.
First brewed in 1858 in Newark, New Jersey. It was closed in 1961 and the label was sold to Narragansett. The attempted to brew the same recipe in Cranston and ship their beer back to Jersey and Virginia for a while but were unsuccessful and the beer soon disappeared. It was said to be the first beer to be put in cans in America in 1935.
Tray is listed as used condition. Looks great and only has minimal signs of wear and tear. Mostly lightly rusted scratches on top rim.
Back is pretty clean. Logos and artwork on inside, bottom and outer rim.
Age is approximately 70 years old. Made in New Jersey. Light metal. 12 inches across. Looks pretty sweet! Displays really nice. Another fine N.J. piece. Tray
