    L. Thuringiaca Flower Notepad
    This is a study done with colored pencil of the flower of a plant called Lavatera Thuringiaca in Basilius Besler’s work, Hortus Eystettensis. I intentionally left out certain elements of Besler's original composition with hopes to underline the distinctive qualities of the individual flower.
