    Description

    ABOUT THIS LISTING:
Native American beaded purse made by an artisan from The Plateau Region.  The Plateau Region consists of Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, and British Columbia.  This purse is designed to be worn on a belt.   It has leather loops on the back side that a belt can go through.  The loops can accommodate a belt that is 3 1/2" wide. It is hand sewn.
    The purse measures about 4 1/" by 5 1/2".
The beaded fringe adds about another 4".  One of the beaded fringe strings has lost the bottom loop of beads.  No other missing beads, rips, tears, or blemishes.  This purse has never been used.  It is an item from the inventory left from my Mother's shop and has been packed away for over 30 years.  She lived in Montana and bought from Indian Trading Posts in the north western United States.
