    Description

    NATIVE AMERICAN BEADED U.S. SCOUT PIPE BAG MURDO, SOUTH DAKOTA.
    A really cool pipe bag beaded with the crossed arrows of the U.S. Scout Service.  Under that is the U.S. Flag and below the Flag is a turtle design which is the symbol for a long life.  The bag appears to be made with material from a trade wool blanket and has leather trim at the top and bottom.  This bag is part of a collection which was purchased out of Murdo, South Dakota, which is located just North of the Rosebud Sioux Reservation.
