ABOUT THIS LISTING:Pair of vintage beaded leather gauntlet style gloves made by an artisan from The Plateau Region. The Plateau Region consists of Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. The gloves measure about 11 1/4" long. They are 6" wide at the cuff. The fringe adds another 5".
From the wrist to the middle finger they measure about 7". The large cuffs are lined with a flowered cotton material. These gloves are a small size. The right glove has some stains on the top side.
Also, there is about an inch of the seam of the right glove at the wrist that needs to be resewn. On the back side of the left glove there are fine lines probably caused from dryness of the leather. They are machine sewn. The beadwork is still tight. No missing fringe or beadwork. These gloves are an item from the inventory left from my Mother's shop and have been packed away for over 30 years. She lived in Montana and bought from Indian Trading Posts in the north western United States. Please see all of my pictures. I have tried to disclose all blemishes.
