PINK Flower Necklace of porcupine quills & glass beads: Paul St John, Mohawk

Paul St John, Mohawk/Passamaquoddy combines pink  and transparent/iridescent pink glass beads and porcupine quills to create a lovely necklace - a flower design with a porcupine quill at the center of each of the flower's 8 petals.  The center of the flower is a large transparent gold glass bead surrounded by small solid color yellow grass beads.  The flower has a double bead chain with some porcupine quills on it.  The chain is of pink and transparent /iridescent pink beads and quills and a few larger transparent glass beads which are also used at the bottom of the dangles.
Flower pendant is  2.5" in diameter with 5 quill & bead dangles hanging beneath the flower - these are 2" long.   Leather backing is from Passamaquoddy lands near Perry Maine.   - Second to last photo in the slideshow is of the back of the necklace - showing that even the deer leather backing is exceptionally soft fine leather.
Paul St. John lives in Maine, his mother is Passamaquoddy.  He grew up on the Mohawk lands in New York, his father's homeland. He has been doing beadwork, baskets, quill and leather work for about 35 years.  He does so many types of crafts and does them all well!   Last photo is of Paul.
While porcupine quill and bead work are historically Maine Indian traditional crafts, not many Maine Indian craftspeople currently working use both quill and beads.
