Plains Indian Bonnet Bag in Superb Condition - Amazing!

Presented today is this vintage Plains Indian Parfleche Bonnet Bag. It comes from an estate of a dear, departed friend who was a respected lecturer, teacher and museum curator. She was part Cheyenne, and lectured and demonstrated extensively on Plains Indian cultures. Also, in the 1960's, she
traveled the northern plains on the Pow Wow circuit, participating in dances, either singly or with a dance troupe. i believe this bonnet bag dates from that time. It is in superb condition throughout. It measures 15 inches long and about 6 inches in diameter at the mouth.
