Repro 1955 Pre A Porsche 356 Beck Fuel Gauge Kit 6V/12V Stork Motometer Gas Gage

Selling one new reproduction Pre A Porsche 356 Beck electric fuel gauge kit for all 6 Volt and 12 Volt Porsches.  The gauge was made with NOS German made VDO parts from the early 1970's.  The chrome bezel and curved glass lens are both show quality period correct German made parts.  This gauge kit comes with an adjustable universal 6 Volt/12 Volt VDO sending unit.  The sending unit fits stock July of 1954 and later Porsche 356 fuel tanks.  For June of 1954 and earlier Porsche 356 fuel tanks, it's possible to easily unscrew the center nut of the sending unit and remove the metal base plate, then swap the base plate out with another part, or drill the base plate with more holes so it will fit a tank with a different bolt pattern.  An alternative base plate could be made out of .187" thick aluminum stock, or out of a broken Beck pneumatic sending unit with the tubes cut off.  This is a complete kit including gauge mounting hardware, gauge lighting socket, 6 Volt and 12 Volt light bulbs, color coded wiring harness, wiring diagrams, and instruction sheets.  The gauge and sending unit will work on 6 Volt and 12 Volt cars interchangeably.  The kit includes an in line voltage dropping resistor for use on 12 Volt cars.  The gauge fits into a 52mm diameter hole.  Look at my ads on the other site I sell on (thesamba) for more repro Pre A Porsche parts including repro electric Stork oil temperature gauges and repro electric Veigel 100mm tachometers, and a discount that is only possible on that site not this one.
