    Description

Being offered is a vintage Sioux Indian hand beaded knife handle and sheath.  The knife blade looks like a dagger and was hand forged and made out of steel or a hard and stiff metal.  I believe this was a Pow Wow or ceremonial event knife rather than one for regular use. The set does show age and wearing in places.  At the top of the knife handle there is a section of beads missing, The sheath looks to have a few beads missed in the manufacturing but the beadwork itself looks intact and nothing being loose.  Despite the wearing the knife and sheath look great as a presentation, with excellent workmanship and design.  The knife is approx. 8 3/4" long with the metal portion being 5 3/8" long by 3/4" wide at its widest portion.  The knife handle is approx. 3 1/2" long by 1" wide.  The sheath is approx. 7 1/8" long by 1 1/8" wide at its widest portion.  The price of insurance is included in the SH cost.
