    Description

SCARCE OLD ITEM!! GREAT MAP AND ILLUSTRATIONS!!
This is a Bureau of Economic Geology/University of Texas Publication #5305,
The Geology of the Henry's Chapel Quadrangle, Northeastern Cherokee County, Texas
. Published in 1953, this 51-page book details the geology of this interesting area in eastern Texas. It comes complete with the original full color geologic map plus two fold-out plates and many illustrations within the text.
This is a great vintage report on this area. The formations are completely described and the many illustrations in the text go a long way in bringing the geology to life. Formations range in age from Eocene to Holocene and are all sedimentary. Two fold-out plates illustrate the formations nicely. They, and the map, are in excellent condition.
Overall a nice, seldom-seen item detailing the interesting geology of this area. A scarce item, this is the first I've ever had.
Expert packing assured. The recent increase in postage rates was pretty big. As a result, Media Mail is now my default shipping method to keep shipping affordable.
