    Description

    This is USGS Bulletin 1285,
Geology of the Sycamore Flat and Paraiso Springs Quadrangles, Monterey County, California
. Published in 1970, these are pretty scarce these days! This item come complete with the 34-page book and all four of the original maps, three of which are full color maps! Two are map sheets of full 7.5-minute quadrangles; another is full color cross sections.
The color maps are beautiful and might look very nice framed. The geology of this area is important for its resources, and the area has many fossil localities as well, which are listed in a table in the book.  The Arroyo Seco river cuts through both maps. The town of Paraiso Springs is in the west side of that map. Sycamore Flat is in the SE corner of that map.
Expert packing assured. The recent increase in postage rates was pretty big. As a result, Media Mail is now my default shipping method to keep shipping affordable.
