    The Tin-Spodumene Belt of the Carolinas, a Preliminary Report
    ." Published in 1942, there can't be many of these around. The publication consists of a 25-page book and ALL FOUR OF THE ORIGINAL MAPS, two of which are bound into the book, and three of which are in a pocket in the back, plus a large folded table of information on localities. The pocket maps are shown. One map is a regional map showing the locations of many prospects and mines. Also included in the pocket is a very large table detailing information about the sixty sites shown on one of the maps. The entire publication is in great condition, with only slight fading of parts of the cover.
    This interesting book discusses the Atlas prospect shaft that, to my knowledge, later evolved into the famous Foote Lithium Mine, source of so many rare minerals. This book would make a great guide for prospecting this large mineralized area.
