. Published in 1944, there can’t be many of these around! This publication consists of the 26-page book and ALL SIX OF THE ORIGINAL MAPS, one of which is an index map showing the locations of mines and prospects. Three of the maps are fold-out maps bound into the book, the other three are in a pocket in the back of the book. The rare green chromium garnet
uvarovite
has been found in this area, as well as the rare purple chromium chlorite called
kammererite
, as well as
chromite, serpentine, olivine, talc, chalcedony
