    Description

    GREAT VINTAGE REPORT WITH MAP!!
    This is USGS Bulletin 1163-C,
    Surficial
Geology of the Athol Quadrangle, Worcester and Franklin Counties, Massachusetts
. Athol is in the upper left corner of the map.
Published in 1966. It consists of the 20-page book and BOTH OF THE ORIGINAL LARGE FULL-COLOR 7.5 MINUTE GEOLOGIC MAPS. One is the bedrock geology, and the other shows glacial deposits in the same area. This is an interesting area with a diverse geologic history. The maps and text make it all clear. The color maps especially are extremely cool and would be well worth framing if one desired. This is a very cool and scarce publication on an interesting and historic area. The two maps are interesting to compare since their content is so different, yet covers the same area.
Expert packing assured. The recent increase in postage rates was pretty big. As a result, Media Mail is now my default shipping method to keep shipping affordable.
