Vintage Rare Athabaskan or Cree Hand Made Beaded, Brain Tanned Moose Mukluks. These are a very old beautiful pair of mukluks. They are 10" tall, 9 1/2" long , approx. 3 1/2" across and the top circumference is approx. 14".  The beading on top is done on old black wool trade cloth and goes most of the way around. The middle and top is sheeps wool. The interior is lined in an old print trade cloth. These have been worn at some point in time--not since I have owned them which has been at least 25 years. They have been in display cabinets for the last 20 years. The beading on the vamps goes all the way up [even under the sheep skin]. The yarn used as ties has pom poms and is very old and frayed in a couple places [see pics]. There are no rips, tears or holes.
