Description:
A vintage round flue cover having a metal rim and glass cover, with cardboard backing. The piece has a chain on top to hang from. The chain is attached to two holes within the frame. The flue cover has a print of a couple in classic Tyrolean attire standing in a mountain path with flowers at their feet, a tree above, and mountains (the Alps?) in the background . The scene is surrounded by a a wide black border. Just a great decorative piece, which would look great in your collection, a great piece to display. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

This flue cover was acquired at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:
This is a nice decorative piece that would display nicely in any collection.
Condition:
The flue cover is in general good condition. It has bumps to the rim, a separation of the rime where the holes to attach the chain were made, minor chips to the glass at the spot to the right where the chain is attached to the rim, and some signs of minor oxidation to the rim (especially at the bottom), all of which can be seen in the photos. In addition, there is some minor writing in pencil on the cardboard back. Other than that it is intact and looks great. Please see photos for additional condition details.
