Has a slight old book smell.
My books received a lot of TLC.
This is a classic book on the various minerals and their benefit and use to man.
Minerals have furnished man not only with the essential materials of civilization but also with his most beautiful and precious ornaments. Modern civilization would be impossible without mineral products and they will surely be increasingly important in the future. This book is a lively, balanced combination of expert information on the nature, origin, and properties of the world's 150 principal minerals together with stories of how they have been used throughout the ages.
Includes 217 illustrations, with 160 in color.
Unfortunately my library has out grown my available retirement residence space. Hopefully others can enjoy as I have.
Shipping will be FREE for domestic and calculated for international. Will combine multiple wins for one shipping cost.
